Told my friend to let me hook his system up he went ahead and did it he sent me pics and described his prob. Haven't seen it yet but he has his rca wired up wrong one is in input white amd output red and it works but when he puts both red and white on input no thump. Ideas

if the sub works when only one RCA is connected but not two, then something is probably wired to wrong polarity. You need to provide a lot more detail on the system.
