i think you are right:laugh:maybe he moved the decimal place?
150.0 RMS watts
350.0 PEAK watts?
first thing is first. no one said you were lying. we are saying your being misinformed by your friend. he is probably looking at a max rating and saying its the rms value.1 amp is a 6 channel JL audio, used for his rear deck, and doors. ( all JL audio)
2nd amp Lanzar (not sure what model, its all black, logo glows red when on, aprox 18" long) also has dial to adjust the bass output, and it' can't handle anything louder then selection 2-3...
his sub is a 10" JL audio, custom built box.
installed at odyssey car audio, barrie ontario.
I have no reason to lie, I was in the car this morning, he has no cap, no extra battery, and no dimming of the headlights or dash..
because our comprehension of a 12v automotive electrical system is exponentially greater than yours.i just dont understand how people cant do the math?
105A x 14V = 1470w total potential power for EVERYTHING in your car....
By the black/glowing red description I'm wondering if it's not one of the old VHC amps. A couple of the big ones were monsters, but even with the 6 ch JL I don't know how it could total 3500.Depends on the model of Lanzar. However, I think the only thing capable of 3500w is the 4000D.
please explainbecause our comprehension of a 12v automotive electrical system is exponentially greater than yours.
get over myself? you gotta be kidding medamn george get over yourself... you know a simple formula, gj...
obviously he is misinformed, no 10in JL sub can take 3500w for any extended period of time like mentioned...
