so I just found this battery at my house, never been used but it's been sitting around a while. I was wondering if I could throw in my truck for an extra battery it's a "werker" brand. I think it's what they use in equipment for scooters for the elderly

I was contemplating using a bunch of batteries similar to these for my stereo but I decided not to because they had such low CCAs. If it can hold a charge it will probably help your system though.

good decision //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

heh, even if it reads 12.8v that doesnt mean that it works at all..

I think its funny when people go here this battery works perfect and show a pic of it putting out 12 some volts..

The battery can give out 13v but have ZERO amps.. IE useless.

Like the yellow top i have sitting in my garage, 13v output and zero amps, wont even power an electric shaver.

best thing to do is to have it load tested at a store for free.
