Forward or rear facing?

I have a 96 Ford Mustang Cobra coupe. I am wanting to put together a system, mainly interested in SQ. I am probably going to run a single 10 (or possibly an 8). Depending on which way my box will face will change the amount of room I have. It will be in a sealed enclosure because space is limited. Since it is in the trunk, I am thinking forward facing against the back seats would be best, but that isn't based on experience. Which would be best? Any other factors that would matter? Thanks.

if ur gonna face a sub forward, u have to seal if off from the trunk.

if u dont wanna go that route, face it towards the trunk.

I guess even forward facing it still reflect off the seats and stays in the trunk? Thanks.
