Forum Newbie, getting back into Car Audio & Video

Hi everyone,

I'm from London UK. I used to be really into my car audio stuff (along with car tuning/modifications & related car forums), but then fell out of love with car stuff in general. I was looking at components & cables stored in boxes the other day & just decided it want great sounds back!! Some of my components are a few years old, but are of good quality & definitely going back in.

I have treated myself to a few new/replacement components & upgraded some cabling, so over the next month or two I will be completing the install along with my Custom Bass Box & Boot Build My system will now be made up of Alpine audio & video sources, & JL Audio, along with Power Distribution Blocks, Cables, Battery Terminals etc by KnuKoncept.

I am in desperate need of advice regarding apn picture files and making custom ones as background images on my Alpine DHA-S690 DVD Changer, plus once everything is in place, advice/opinions on LPF/HPF, Filter Slope & Gain settings for my JL Audio Amps (1000/1 & 300/4) & my AudioControl Epicenter.

Any helpful information is gratefully received.
