Forgot to put the hardener in the resin

that really sucks, i remember the first time i ever glassed i put too much hardener in and wasted a good $20 bucks worth of resin, live and learn me guess

Same here. Mixed the first batch and about 5-10 mins later I had one hell of a hot cup in my hands and all the resin was a rock already. oops.

I figured those tubes were some extra thing they threw in to sweeten up the deal of buying resin. Like a bonus additive.

I think Im gonna start over... just wasted 70 bucks but I have learned my lesson.

Good call. Resin will *eventually* cure without hardener... but 6 layers worth? Id never trust it.
Let this be a lesson to you, seriously. Your first time fiberglassing ever, spent nearly a 100 bucks on materials, and you didn't read the instructions nor pay close attentions to all the products that came together. Thanks Cybe, and yah Audioholic it was a dumb move but its a part of life. Oh well... I know now to read my directions, pictures from online are no longer enough or skimming over the words by the pictures lol.

Yes, burned like a mother****er. Got to close while I was mixing it and some splashed up in my eye. Had my eye protection off for the moment. I was worried as **** that the shit was going to harden up my eye and shit, lol. Called the number on the container and was told to flush for 20 mins.
