Forgot to put the hardener in the resin

Yup... Dumbass move on my part, didnt read the instructions. So I definately put 6 layers down... is there anyway that I can fix this?

6 layers huh? well you can try dripping the resin on it now but if you do it will either do nothing or could warp the fiberglass all to hell. Without hardener it will prolly never dry so you may want to just consider starting over.

Umm... any other way I really dont wanna start over... defiantely spent like 8 hours doing that .... ugggg... any other way to fix my idiotic move? I know Im not the only one that has done it. Im guessing the Dallas heat wont be enough considering its in my truck at the moment....

Im really tempted to go put both tubes of hardener in the resin right now... and pray it doesn't mess up the wood parts....

chalk it up to a day wasted and a lesson learned. Not a real big deal to start over and do it correctly.

do not just dump the hardener in..

my best advice would be to just start doing another layer after brushing your projects surface with a correct mixture..then lay down another coat and so on until it hardens..

seems like people here dont really try helping anymore..just like making jokes...that arent funny.

You have to start over it will never properly cure. Even if you mixed up a new batch w/hardener and applied some layers the outer layer MAY harden but the inside will forever and always be tacky.
