maybe in a straight line the ZR1 will outperform a few porches and ferrari's but get them on a track and it's a whole new story, and lotus's aren't designed to be super car fast they just weigh nothing so they are fairly quick... perfect example of fast straight line bad on a track is the Bugatti Veyron

Sure, the standard run of the mill Veyon is the 8th fastest around the track...

BUT the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is the absolute fastest around the track.

The Lambo has a BASE price of $450,000 to the Corvette ZR1's $110,000. The ZR1 completely destroys Lambo's, Ferrari's, & Porsche's in a straight line & holds it's on at the track. All the while costing about 20% what it's counterparts cost.

GM kicked their ass with this car.

the corvette can be that much cheaper because it's made of cheap plastic compared to the other cars even if it is fast... and if I had that kinda money I'd take the ferrari, porshe, audi... or any of the like over the corvette even if they're slower

GM doesn't make their sports cars out of plastic, hell my '00 Z28 wasn't even plastic. Camaro's & Corvette's have fiberglass bodys.

Oh yeah, the ZR1 is made out of carbon fiber.

Another note, the LS based engine in the ZR1 will be much more reliable, last 2x longer, & be much cheaper to maintain than European cars.
