I've seen fart cans on chevys and Fords too and they look gayer than a Honda Civic with a fart can. Even if there are only Chevy, Ford and Dodge vehicles mofos will start arguing about which one is better, so I'd say people who argue about cars solely on a few factors are all idiots.

Exactly...That's what I don't like about the Camaro SS, it's too chunky for my tastes, but it works great for you and there's no problem with that. And yeah, the SRT8 is a total boat.

the build quality, especially the interior, is why i chose the SS over the 5.0.......

I'm suprised, as well as pleased, with how much Ford has caught up with Chevrolet. Back when I had my '00 Z28 the Mustang wasn't even in the same class. The LS1 was in the Camaro in '98, & the top model Cobra for that year couldn't touch the Chevy in any category....the Z28 put more power to the wheels than the Ford did at the crank.

I guess time will tell if it's the new 5.0 or GM just hasn't had enough time to tweak the new LS series engines, time will tell.

How can you compare a $111 000 2 seat Corvette to a $85 000 4 seater? And from the few dyno's i have seen, the GTR usually gets 20-30 horse more. But the engines are hand built, so there is obviously going to be some differences in engine output. I think the ZR1 is a great car, just not a fair comparison.

How can you compare a $111 000 2 seat Corvette to a $85 000 4 seater? And from the few dyno's i have seen, the GTR usually gets 20-30 horse more. Then you can't compare a $85,000 GT-R to a $75,000 Z06.

Considering the $111,000 ZR1 outperforms $500,000 Ferrari's, Porsche's, & Lotus' comparing a $85k & $111k car is fine.

maybe in a straight line the ZR1 will outperform a few porches and ferrari's but get them on a track and it's a whole new story, and lotus's aren't designed to be super car fast they just weigh nothing so they are fairly quick... perfect example of fast straight line bad on a track is the Bugatti Veyron

The all alum 427 small blocks in the ZR1's are also hand built, individually. But that does not mean you will see any significant differences in output from one engine to another. Hand built simply means hand assembled, with the same individual involved in all phases of the assembly process. The same tolerances are met no matter if this method, or a more traditional assembly method, is used.
