thats my point, thats why I am confused as hell..

but as of now I am in process of removing the panel and possibly have to bypass the factory amp..

but I am stuck with 3 bolts being stuck to the body!!! It wont budge, I am taking a break now then in 15 mins i m going to my bro s place he got air power tools so hopefully they will come off then further information will be available

i have a 98 explorer and they are messed up. I bought the amp by pass kit and it didnt even fit. I did so much research and my friend is a installer and the harnesses just didnt work right for the 98's.I would just wire your door speakers directly to the hu, thats what i did and forget about the factory sub. What year is your explorer. It took about 30 minutes to rewire everything. Ecplorers are easy to work on

edit: i see you have a 2004 explorer, not sure about that one. you could check out explorerforum.com

how the hell did you run all of the speaker wires to the speakers in 30 mins lol?

well my only problem would be how to get the speaker wire thru the dash to the door from the HU

i'm confused with your problem, are you wanting to swap decks and keep the factory sub working?

I didn't care about the factory sub, i just pluged the wiring harness in like normal wired up the pioneer and everything works fine minus no factory sub..
