Carb, I am going to the gold coast next Feb...then sydney and finally new zealand. Anything I should check out or avoid?

Gold Coast will be good ... Sydney's not really that exciting. The ppl are rude .. all they have really is a bridge...

stay away from Cronulla too....

I'd suggest going to Melbourne because there's more to do, people are nicer ... etc ... but I'm bias.

Crown towers looks nice. Right on the river. I cant really change were we get to go unless I want to loose out on the savings. This is a planned all inclusive through a travel agency. I am going to keep looking though. I am unsure about going to new zealand.

Where would you say the ocean is the nicest? In all honesty I have never been to or seen any ocean and I want to do scuba diving, I am certified and have never been out of a **** lake LOL.
