For those of you with a TYPE R

popping slighltly might be tinsel slap.. like it sounds like its something vibrating on plastic?
i took it apart several months ago and put it back together and noticed it has very small dents in the ( forgot the name of it, lol ). But it wasn't anything serious. I don't know how much damage it takes to effect it this bad though. But i'm pretty sure it is the sub popping. I just keep the bass down really low so they don't pound hard because i can't stand the thought of them popping like that.

And yeah, it sounds like something vibrating on plastic.
