This is a very good article for Seniors in high school and college hopefuls/students who can't seem to find direction.

Quick summary, it explains how a college degree isn't necessary to be succesful. People with a degree, but do not know what to do with it, are no better off than someone without the degree. The article states that it is more important to have a PURPOSE than to just go to college for any old reason.

"Begin with purpose as it determines what knowledge you need. "

"Waiting until you have gotten your degree to determine a purpose for yourself is just another form of procrastination!"

I hope this helps some people find some direction without falling into debt and depression first lol.

BTW: if you don't know what to do with yourself I'd say it's better to sit in college taking the general while you figure it out rather than sit in your home town, making $12/hour getting trapped into an apartment, car payment, and kids before you have a chance to improve your income potential...
