This is something I probably should of posted last month or so, but never got around to it. btw, folding a sub is just that - folding it inside out from the pressure / abuse at competitions....its when you excede the mechanical limits of the material the sub is made out of.

Can you clarify what makes a better driveby car?

Big windows?

I would think an SUV allows for the bass to exit pretty easily...would facing the sub up help in driveby?

They meter ur SPL score a few feet away from the car with i think 1 window open, not sure. I think its suppose to mimic the distance u are from the sidewalk

Yes thats sort of the idea, but you can have any combination of window / sunroof / back window open in order to increase your score outside of the vehicle. The meter is 6 foot away, and now to the new MECA rules this year can be on either side of the vehicle during your run.
