focal sub p 30, alpine sws 12d2, or boston acoustics G2 ftw?

no bro, i think those are awesome subs i really do....just a lil bit out of my price range as far as the other subs that im considering. Im trying to cut a deal with a seller on ebay for a set right now but i dont think im going to get him to come down on the price at all that's why im still looking at other options too but dont think im not listening to you i really like the looks of that sub AND your willingness to vouch for them
I was more or less kidding lol but thanks now I can go on with my night. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Video time? I like Video time!

Dayton subs were used in this SQ build (my car btw)

This song gets the subs involved a bit more:

And of course everyone likes bass demo's amirite?

In car: [video=youtube;Ho4AYy-VmVs]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ho4AYy-VmVs&list=UL

Cut short because of that alarm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGMbUpZCbDo

They dig really deep and sound good on all types of music. They'll get decently loud as well.

Ya know, just trying to push ya out of budget //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

But, on a slightly more serious note, a lot of guys on here know, I'm a huge Boston Acoustics fan and for the price of G1's they're pretty darn solid as you can see. Same with G2s. Neither will disappoint for a nice SQ/ Daily setup.

man those sound so awesome and look so good......i think i just had my first eargasm, lol what was that track in your 2nd vid, and by the way do you live in albany ga?
Second vid's track was Trittico its on one of the Focal SQ discs.

and yep, I'm in Albany GA. I'm guessing you recognized Tony's gym behind me lol....or the tag...

Dayton's RSS's HO subwoofers probably work best in ported box. First, the EBP product is above 60 or so, suggesting that ported will work better. Next, they don't have very good sensitivity or low end extension in a sealed box. On the upside, their ported box requirement is very modest. The other day I threw a model in WinISD, and it seems like a couple of Dayton SVC HO10s need a 1.2cu ft sealed box (together, not counting port area), tuned in low 30s. That's smaller than the box you want to dedicate to just one 12 inch subwoofer.
