Hello,

i have the Iridium 6.2 running off an audison vrx 4.300.2 and really love the DLS which is an amazing set of speaker, but i want a more dynamic speaker, one of my friends has the focal k2p and his amp is the focal fp2.150.. i've listened to them many times but found them a tiny sounding speaker and lack the depth my iridium has.. so would like to know if the tiny sound from the focals is due to the install or not?

thanks

everytime i hear Focals i just do not care for the sound either, the quailty is there just not for the rop/rap i listen to...

ive found the Alpine Type-X's to sound great for rock but ive been wanting to try the DLS's to

will the k2p's be able to sound full bodied and rich? i love how the iridiums sound, the only complaint is the lack of top end extension which the focals do it very well.. don't know to switch to the focals or not .. !

I'm guessing it's either the amps are turned down too far or the speaker placement is poor. I've heard the K2's and they sound great with good placement and proper amplification. They are what I plan on putting in my next daily driver.

The K2P's with proper install can sound stunning. That said, personally, I find the top end waaaaay too bright for my liking. I would rather point the tweeter out the window if they were in my personal vehicle. That said though, it is not me that the speaker needs to entertain..... Want a superior option, consider Morel.
