nice........

i need to do my Oz ME mid, if i ever install them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

WHat kind of power do people run on these speakers active? I think I heard somewhere around the range of 150-200 per mid?.....what about the tweets?
The K2P set is VERY efficient. When I had mine I ran 100 watts to each side and it got loud enough to where I didn't want to turn it up anymore, still sounding clean as ever. If I were going active I'd put 100 per mid, 50 per tweeter...or just get a 100x4 amp and have some overhead for the tweets. I'm sure you could put more on the mids, but it isn't needed.

Also, if you're planning on running K2P's active, be sure and check on the impedences of the individual speakers so that you purchase adequate power.

I was acctually planning on running K2p's when I do get a newer car this year and start a fresh new system in that car.

I would be running them active, and sending 100 to the mids would sound about right, and 50 to the tweets.

You made me think of another question when you said "Also, if you're planning on running K2P's active, be sure and check on the impedences of the individual speakers so that you purchase adequate power."

Both the Mid and tweets should be 4 ohms right? Not having the passive crossover doesnt change anything right? So if you could clarify what you meant that would be awesome.
