Focal K2P componets

I'm thinking about getting this set for a 07 camry. my main goal is to get speakers that are going to be loud and clear, and sound good playing all genres of music. My price is under a 1,000 for a set. I relize it personal preference to most, but i have found most shops dont sell hgh end brands and/or dont have them set up for listening.

What price are you getting them for? Focal has a loyal following, but their sound is a matter of taste with many people.

Myself, I would recommend Hertz for great high end sound at a lower cost, or even Rainbow audio. Focal in my book is a touch overpriced.

I'm not going for competition. I just want a great sounding system and a set of componets that can take a beating and not get drowned out by subs.

Well, you should first decide on what you want to spend, Then fit a speaker into that budget for what you are wanting to hear. When you said Focal, I assumed we were talking in a $400-600 budget. You can get a loud set of speakers that have pretty good sound quality for $250. It's all subjective, though. What sounds good to me may sound bad to you. So, a budget choice helps.

My budget for componets is a 1,000. I dunno i thought the more money they are the better. I dont think that sony speakers would sound as good as boston pro's but maybe im just naive.

Na, the case of more $$$ = better...isn't always true. I've heard Hertz next to Focal, and can personally say I like the Hertz better. They also beat out Focal in testing last year. For a few hundred bucks less, you get great sound. Not for nothing, but when I hear a great set of $400 components next to a pair of $1000 components, the differences to me are negligible. Certainly not enough to justify $600. It's more important to have your car tuned properly than it is to have it tricked out with $$$$ stuff.

In your budget $1000 for all four doors in the car, or just one set of speakers? If you have $1000 for just a pair, we can start even bring Morel into the equation.

Powerline CS. Look no further. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
X2 on the Powerline CS set. For under $1,000 shipped, they're pretty impossible to beat for the quality and output capability.
