Not for nothing, but when I hear a great set of $400 components next to a pair of $1000 components, the differences to me are negligible. Certainly not enough to justify $600. It's more important to have your car tuned properly than it is to have it tricked out with $$$$ stuff.In your budget $1000 for all four doors in the car, or just one set of speakers?
