Flip out screen Boss cd player dosnt work when lights are on.

I just recently bought a Boss 7inch flip out screen CD Player for my 2005 dodge ram. I hooked it all up besides the pink wire. Does any one know how to get it to work when my lights are on? Also does anyone know were I hook up the pink wire or should I just tape it off?

you wired it wrong

should have an orange illumination wire thats for your lights

its obviously hooked up wrong

what do you mean? be more specific with the lights question, and that pink wire is your parking brake lead for the dvd lockout wile in motion

your wired it wrong, take it back out, and wire the yellow to a constant +12v and the red to a switched +12v do not hook up the orange wire to were you have it, if it dosent work with out orange wire hooked up, the hook the orange wire the the red wire, and the pink wire is what is supposed to be hooked up to the parking brake to allow the dvd player to work
