you got those golden ears bro. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifFlac is pretty pointless unless you listen to very few songs. 30+ MB per song adds up quick. I can tell (seem to be one of the few) that can hear a difference between 320 Bit rate and Flac/equivalent, but it is barely noticeable.
And as we have pointed out, there are tons of aftermarket head units over here that support Flac...
Again highly doubt it. Unless you are listening to a several thousand dollar audiophile grade setup vs a flea market setup, you cannot tell the difference.Flac is pretty pointless unless you listen to very few songs. 30+ MB per song adds up quick. People are always going to disagree with me when I say that. I know that I can do it because I've done it. Ever since I was a kid I've been able to hear subtle things most other people couldn't. The differences in 320 vs Flac are very, very subtle and minute which is why 95% of people out there can't tell a difference unless they do have an audiophile grade studio. So like I said, disagree all you want.Again highly doubt it. Unless you are listening to a several thousand dollar audiophile grade setup vs a flea market setup, you cannot tell the difference.
And what systems were compared in this A vs B blind test?People are always going to disagree with me when I say that. I know that I can do it because I've done it. You just won't accept the fact that some people can hear better than others can you? Give me any decent or better headphones/earbuds or DJ/PA setup or car setup. I've said it multiple times now that the differences are super subtle. Its mainly with the real high frequencies that I myself can tell a difference. And what systems were compared in this A vs B blind test?
Without doing an A vs B blind test your claims hold no water. Hence, why I am inquiring about the validity of said test. If you can truly tell the difference what system was it on? Who conducted the A vs B test? What was the process for conducting the A vs B test? You just won't accept the fact that some people can hear better than others can you? Holy **** you are ******* ignorant. I don't have to do anything to prove it to you. I know what I can do and you do not. Head over to the hifi forums and you'll find that there is an alarming number of people that are just like me.Without doing an A vs B blind test your claims hold no water. I am a member of several high fi forums including headfi.org. I have several thousand dollar headphones and amps/dacs. Nobody that has ever listened to them can tell a difference in an A vs B test. You arent any different. If you truly were so special you would be more than willing to divulge the answers to my questions.Holy **** you are ******* ignorant. Again, I'm reiterating for the millionth time, the differences are super subtle (for me) and they're mainly on the high notes. Its not a white versus black difference for me. Maybe on an ultra high end piece of equipment it will be.
I just read multiple forum threads with people claiming to tell the difference in A vs B test? Or am I blind too? And while we're at it, I'm going to make the claim that you're full of **** on the headphones you've owned, just like you claim I'm lying. As for me not divulging more information... I don't think I have to because they weren't anywhere near high end equipment (except for my door speakers) and according to you its not possible if they don't cost thousands of dollars. So even if I did list them you would just say I'm full of ****. See my point?I am a member of several high fi forums including headfi.org. I have several thousand dollar headphones and amps/dacs. OP dont worry about flac in a vehicle. With road noise, wind noise, and doors being a less than perfect location for a speaker you will never be able to tell a difference in a vehicle.
The issue with your claim is I am more than willing to prove it. I have worked with several companies including Gorilla Ears, Heir Audio, Aurisonics, VMODA, Grado, Dunu, Brainwavz, Thinksound, and Yulong Audio on reviews where I have been given product. I still have several sets of headphones laying around including the once $1200 set of Gorilla Ears AT5's, Aurisonics ASG2.0's, and Heir Audio 3.ai's. You can see the pics on my review in the link below.I just read multiple forum threads with people claiming to tell the difference in A vs B test? Or am I blind too? As for your point to the OP, I said the exact same thing in my very first post, so at least we agree on something.
EDIT: Let's not forget that I could really care less whether or not you believe me. Because frankly I don't believe half the bogus you spew out either. So we're even.
Lets reiterate, I don't give a flying fuck if you believe me or not. I know what I can and can't do. You don't.The issue with your claim is I am more than willing to prove it. I have also reviewed the Yulong Audio DA8 which is a $1300 unit and currently in my possession have the Schiit Vali tube amp, with the Schiit Magni, Schiit Modi, and the Schiit Wyrd.
So again back up your claims with actual data or GTFO.
I agree based on facts. If you spew verbal diarrhea you will get called on it, unfortunately for you I read this thread and called you on it.Lets reiterate, I don't give a flying fuck if you believe me or not. I know what I can and can't do. You don't.
EDIT: And no matter you prove to me I still think you're an ignorant human being with one hell of an inferiority complex. You never agree with anyone regardless of facts. And let's not forget that you're a terrible, terrible moderator. That's clearly been proven.
