You can't get me
Hi

Yeah as you read it, i want to add a fish tank to my new installation, but i'm kind of afraid cause of the "water factor", i'm planning on doing it with plexi does any body have any experience on doing fish tanks that can help me about the thicker of the plexi.

And what should take care off.

Thanks.

simple solution is to cut a hole in the side and put the subwoofer there. make sure its a titanium/aluminum cone and rubber surround so you dont get leaks. water is a great for acoustic suspension

plus if your fish die it will make it look like theyre still alive, great if you have kids.

Sounds retarded.

Here is where i get piss off with all this fu**** id***, if you dont have enought imagination or not even enought info dont post just to get your post counter goes up.

The fish tank is not gonna be part of the structure of the box (obviously) it is just gonna be an accesorie for car shows and stuff like that fishes wont be in there all the time just in those little ocassion other part of the time they will be in their 50 gls fish tank.

PS: to all those retards, I dont have the fault that your mind cant create new things a you just have to copy what you see.

ive seen it done before, but what they did was make the fish tank plexi walls 3/4" thick with about 3" between the walls, then used one of the walls as the see-thru area of a bandpass box. worked ok, but id hate to be the fish.

its not a stupid idea, just a pain in the azz to upkeep.

the fish will die. there isn't much you can do about that. but if you just want it for show, why not make a place for it and slide it in just for the shows?

Something like the Fishman did a long time back?
