first year of college:on campus or off??

they joined the wrong hazing frat. . . . i mean a good reputable fraternity would never do things in that nature to even risk loosing thier charter. . . without that then fraternities can't really exist. . . and about the others who alientated thier real friends. . . its not that at all, its that during your pledge process (if there is one) your 1st semester with you brothers is something surely unforgettable. . . fraternity RITUAL is something that can't be discussed and people take great pride in that. . . they probably and most likely went through so much in thier 1st semester that they realized a bigger connection with thier fraternity brothers. No offense at all, it's just the stuff that fraternity ritual does. . .
ALL of the frats on campus did the same hazing techniques...it happens all over the place. I almost went outside with a bat and killed 15 of the douchebags because they made them sing in their underwear at 1AM in my parking lot (this was a frat that none of my friends had been pledging in).

I don't care if someone on here wants to join a frat...but I've seen it...my friends (a couple of which I have known for 15+years) completely alienated their friends...you know, those people...that you don't have to prove anything to in order for them to consider you a friend?

You should live on campus and in the dorms for a couple of reasons.

First off since you will be closer to class you will be more motivated to go. Not going to class can kill you so always go. Also, it will tend to make you do stuff like go to the library to study instead of sitting in your sweet *** apartment drinking. Also, it is easier to find people who live in your building who are in you classes. This can be a lifesaver when it comes to exam time!!!

Now, the fun reasons. You will meet and make new friends a lot easier than if you lived off campus. Plus, you can have some great parties in dorms.

I would say that the dorm experience is something that everyone who goes to college should have!!!!!!

it shouldnt b too bad,ive hung out with them a lot for years now,im used to them, and plus if they get on my nerves i have a lot of other friends who'll b there,it shouldnt b bad,i think itll b just fine

My second year I moved in with a friend, and had another good friend from high school down the hall. Both him and my roommate were RA's. 'Twas a lot of fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
