Okay i have a Ford Escort 1998 and i am planning on putting in some audio equipment. I am thinking two 10" subs of course a box an amplifier and all of the other hardware. I am planning on hooking it up through the tape deck so i can just play right off of my zune. What company brand etc. should i go with if i am planning on spending around 200 dollars?

can make a box for about 50

Get a single sub(used??) and hifonics amps are good on a budget

Might be able to do about 350

It is not much that can be recommended for that small amount of dough. You can get

250 will definitely get you in the room with some audio equipment, but it won't get you any setup worth anything.

hey i have the 1999 escort se. if u ever gona run some power in that car the alt is only 75 amps to let you know. thats not much. just see what u wana do dont rush in to anything i made that mistake. do the big 3 the stock wires **** so bad in these cars

That is why i recommended a single sub setup. 1-200 for a decent sub. and about 150 on hifonics amp.

I don't know him, but I know me. I started last summer with a 750 watt autotek Supersport and a 15 inch CVR. I ran that for like 2-3 weeks if that . MOAR POWA was needed. He's gonna come on here and look at flexing vids and shit and want to emulate that...lol. if not then yeah, a single type R with like a 1200 watt hifonics will be ok.
