First subs you ever owned and car!

IRC I upgraded from the alpines to a two pairs of 12" doctor crankensteins. In a push pull Isobaric enclosure. God I feel old now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

In as small of a hatch as the Metro is/was that probably actually sounded decent, no?
Yeah it did. I liked it better than the rest of the systems I've had until I got my Q's. The SQ was really nice and it got decently loud, just cause the car is so small. And I think the way the hatch is shaped contributed to the loudness also.

I had 2 12" plye blue label speakers in some very old MTX boxes, sadly this was less than a year ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I had 2 Kicker L5's in the back of a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport powered by an Orion 97.1 Concept amp. Wasn't too shabby... but it wasn't enough for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Had a '96 dodge intrepid. Started with 2 kicker comp c12a's in a 3/4 inch sealed birch plywood box. Ran off a kicker punch 200ix amplifier along with a couple 4 inch rf coax's in the front and some type r 6x9's.

Upgraded to 2 e12k.44's about a year later. Biggest mistake of my life.

1989 chevy blazer 2 door...

2 Pyle 500 watt 10s in a bandpass box.. (2) Roadmaster (walmart) 500 watt max 2 channel amps.. (1 for each sub)

Actually hit pretty hard.. ended up taking the back seats out.. building a platform and throwing in gold carpet and some black lights...
