first project car :)

I would do like aformentioned and look for a turbo off of an old bird. Since it's a relatively small displacement motor, a turbo from a DSM might work also. DSM would be something like a Talon or Eagle for those who dont know. You can get a working turbo with charge piping, IC and all that shiza for fairly cheap. I have talked with people on sites that have done complete turbo set-ups, including fuel management for less then $600.

acutally it was a v6

Wrong. In the late 80's there was a Thunderbird Turbo. It came with the inline 4 and was turbocharged. Also came in a 5-spd.

You are thinking about the Supercoupe SC. That was a v6 that was supercharged. That car was OK, but is nutorius for blowing head gaskets out the ***. The n/a v6 and ther 4.6 v8 were their best of production cars. The v8 have valve seal leaks (early milage). The 95's had bad trannys.

The 3.8 n/a was alright. Just a wee bit slow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.
