The way i stopped my headunit from skipping was to place some kind of support under the back of the headunit.
Also, I would have ran the speaker wire through a small hole drilled in the back and caulked over. Kinda my pet pieve. Great equiptment/box though.

Thank you. What kind of support did you use? Was it a metal support or was it like some type of cushion thing? I know i should have put the terminal cup in. I was lazy and i just ran in through the port to get it done. When i finish the box it will be redone.

Nice setup up, looks stupid LOUD. I am still trying to figure out what brand of 8's i want for my passat. I am going 4 straight across, ported if there is room.

Thank you and i'm workin on vids. Been forgettin my camera everytime i go out because i can't shoot vids at my house or my stuff will be G'd real quick.

Alright guys sorry about the wait. My deck has been skipping badly when the bass hits so its hard to get a video. I am exchanging my panasonic for an alpine because i never had any problems with my old alpine and i like alpine. If i don't get a video in the next couple days i will for sure get one when my new alpine comes in.

What do you guys think on my box placement? Should i leave it or try to turn it back again?

I know that, but when i fire it back there is barely any room for air to come back into the cabin from the trunk. Right now i have it firing forward with the trunk partially sealed off. I'm gonna face it back again and see how if its louder. I tried back when i first tested the subs and it just wasn't that loud, but that was prolly because it was my first time playin the subs.

If you ever want to get rid of your 1508s, I want one. They are hard to find with cf dustcaps.

I would also round off the inside of the port...the part that is on the same plane as the subs.

Thanks. Yea i'm not sure if i'll get rid of them or not when i go off to college and if i do it will be next summer. And will do on the port sanding.
