Finally, a car audio comp is coming to my local area, usaci spl comp in portland oregon on august 25th according to their website. I'll be doing the big 3 in 1/0 and upgrading to 1/0 power and ground so that should take care of my voltage drop. Where I need some help is in the box! Its for an 18" Fi BL going in the back of my chevy 1500 extended cab with the back seat out. I plan on doing street beat and playing thug 101. How big should I make the box? What should I tune it to? How much port area? where do I fire the port? I've been seeing the port on the drivers side work good. Any ideas for this enclosure?

I would make it as large as possible tuned to around 40 Hz give or take depending on your truck's cab. Port area should be as large as possible, no less than 100 in^2, but more like 150-200 in^2 if possible. I like to fire the port in line with the drivers but you should place both the drivers and the port where there is the most clearance possible.
