I just ordered the $25 eD sub (EHQS 12"). I'm gonna build it to have 2.5 cu. ft net and tune it to 35 Hz. gonna mess around and do quite a bit of bracing for the heck of it and while i'm at it im thinking of using an aeroport. I went to
partsexpress and some other website that was mentioned in my WTB thread and with shipping a 4" x 17" comes out to 25 bucks shipped, definitely not worth it. If anyone has 2" - 4" aeroports that they wanna sell LMK. Back to my question...I noticed the smaller i went in size for the aeroport width, the smaller the length needed becomes. Does it seem right to have a 2.5 cu. ft. enclosure tunes to 35 Hz with a 2" aeroport to have a port length of 1.03"? This is where I plugged in the numbers.
