First box is finished, Amp Painted

Just finished building my first box. Sealed, about 2.2 ft^3. It doesn't hit that hard but the lows are amazing. The sub is an older 12" RF Series 1. I origionally had a Soundstream Rubicon 12 in it, but my amp just wasn't powerfull enough for it (300W RMS amp trying to push a 600WRMS sub).

Just regular barbecue paint.

man i remember those subs, that was actually the second design of the series 1 sub, the first one had a normal convex dustcap on it......

How about this...

Amp on top, or on the front.

Now, the amp would be over to the side a bit more than that, but still on an angle, if I mounted it to the top. I'll get a better pic of it on the top tomorrow.

I'm not really sure which one I want, I kind of like the top mount just because I can hide the wires easily, but I'm not too sure yet...

Nice jeep, but shitty *** sub. I remember when I had those series 1 subs, absoutley shit! Maybe you will have better luck with them than I did, but again jeep looks sick.

And yeah, the sub isn't really that great. It's not horrible but as soon as I started playing some rap it turned to shit, for rock it's okay, but the rap it can't handle. I'll be putting the Soundstream back in there tomorrow (the one in the pic with the amp) and I'll just start looking for a more powerful amp.
