First Box ever a success!!

Sup guys,

I completed my first box ever yesterday. It's 2cubes at 36hz rather than 2cubes at 32hz which is what i had my sx in before an it sounds great! I would give myself a 6 out of 10 for i had a couple of splits in the wood when using screws to clamp the peices together but thats becuase i used 2 1/2" screws and was too lazy to go out and get shorter ones. I figure i can cover the splits with the carpet.

I just wanted to say thanks for everybody on this forum for providing me with all the information i needed to build an awesome enclosure.

But i do have one more question, is there any particular spray adhesive i should be using when i carpet the box?

I find that those screws are literally twice as long as what you should use.

i use 1 5/8" deckmate exteriors and i have never split wood or even stripped a hole...the 1 1/4"s just dont do it for me
