A decent sized house you'd need 250K + at least around here, 350 would net you a nice one.

Well around here you can get apartments for generally 350-500 as well. Low cost of living FTW! Pretty nice places to with close to 1000sqft. My house which my parents had apraised at 150, 000 years ago. Well house is still in there name and all for now. I just pay them the monthly bills which are right around 400 for da house and about 275 for the utilities. So 675 for a 3 bedroom house with a brand new Garage I just had built and new cement driveway, just done as well. Its gonna **** to get it in my name next year. Eeekkkkkk! Payments probably will go up. But parents said they would sell it for me around 60k. WOOT!

Rent around here is like 1300 a month for like a 3 bed 2 bath, but houses around here are EXPENSIVE, love SoCal but the cost of living sucks, we bought our house in '87 for 90g's its worth over 400,000 now.... yes they do...nebraska is one of the cheapest in the nation when it comes to living...u can get a brand new house built for u for 100k

wow, that is cheap, here in vegas you are looking at about a quarter mill for a decent 3 bedroom house in a middle class area.

generally yes, most places worst case charge you first and last months rent, and like a small deposit. it really just depends on where your moving and the rules the landlord has in place
