Fired from my job....for the most bullshit reason.

Still hasn't answered what he did with the check question. My wife worked at HD for 7-8 yrs and I can tell ya stories from her of people getting fired for ridiculous reasons....

Gave it back to the person that worked in the vault and told them they gave me the wrong check and asked for my own check.

An HR doesnt need to be present, but needs to sign off on a termination. He/She has the final say. Believe me, the HRs think of all legal ramifications before signing off on a term.

Their was nothing signed by the HR on the paper that stated i was terminated. The store manager signed it and my supervisor signed it (freight supervisor).

If they were wrong in terminating you, perhaps you can request another position at a different home depot.

I remember when I was working with my mom at a gym, and the idiot payroll woman got our hours mixed up, so I had like double my average paycheck. Not much to do with what youre going through, but when payroll people are dealing with relatives that work together, only hilarious things can happen. You should really push your aunt down a flight of stairs at the next family gathering.
