Shotgun question

Ok i finally picked up a mossberg 500 at a decent price i suppose. My question is It has a wood stock an wood forend an i am wanting to convert the the gun into somewhat of a riot gun with pistol grip an synthetic forend n 18 inch barrel.(Im wanting it for home/car protection) what would be my best route on doing this?Ive owned a couple of pistols but nev a shotgun.Anyone know of a cheap site to buy this stuff? I was also wondering if there is a gun forum i can maybe trade these things out? Would anyone even be willing to trade?Or buy my barrel an forend? Yep, thats where I got all the info for building my AR and buying all the add ons to pimp it out.... From there I found out about UZItalk.com and found the MAC-10 and MAC-11 forum areas and found out about my MAC....
