ah ... whatever, lol. I get the picture now though. Before I was lost and didnt really know what to make of that number (//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif) now i have a better understanding. In reality I guess all the specs and numbers are important to a certain extent.

 
ah ok. So where I'm getting confused is the meaning behind those specs. What is the RE rating compared to the D1 and D2 ratings.
I now get D1 is Dual 1ohm and D2 is Dual 2 ohm but what is the RE .7 and 1.4 ohms

Until this time, we only discussed resistance. I said that resistance is the opposition to the flow of current. While this is true, it would be more precise to say that resistance is the opposition to the flow of direct current. Impedance is the opposition to the flow of alternating current. AC causes some devices to act differently than they do with DC. This is true with speakers.
