Finishing up the system. CDA 9887 vs. keeping 9883 and adding EQ

So this is where I'm at as of right now. Alpine CDA 9883 source unit, Hertz HSK 165 front 2 ways. Front components powered by an Eclipse EA4200 4 channel bridged to 140 watts per side. Infinity References in the rear run of the HU. Pioneer premier 10 shallowmount run off Alpine MRP M500 at 300 watts.

I think Im almost there, now Im looking for a bit more equalization. Options are Alpine CD 9887 (Probably wouldn't bother with the IMPRINT kit at this point) or a small 7-10 band EQ/line driver. Anybody have thoughts on which would way to go to get the most bang for my buck?

Well, if you plan on running active on the Hertz then i'd say get the 9887, IMO. That should give u all the Eq'n u will want, atleast for now. Plus u can sell the 9883 to help pay for the cost of the 9887.
