yeah, the countersinks will make everything flush. and who cares how it looks bare, that carpet will cover everything up. (i think carpeting is harder than the building)

Nice work. I don't think carpeting will be that bad. Definately counter sink the screws for a cleaner edge. Know anybody with a router ?
