It's been almost 2 months ago I started looking for new gear. Thank go from super cheap to high end cheap gear lol. So I started ordering stuff like a mad man and everything has finally arrived... All thats left is to get the wood n start putting my box together. Here's my Imgur post!

I'm think that's how it works, tho I'm not entirely sure. I'm gonna use a multimeter and clamp tester to check what everything is running at after I put it all together.

Question does anyone know if a sub says 750 RMS, should I tune with my gain, voltage n amperage lvl to meet that specific amount if juice to hit 750 RMS at say 4/5th max volume to give head room to burp it, or should I voltage tune it to take as much as amp will give and subs take w/o sounding like they are clipping... Think I'm gonna buy an O-scope if I can find one cheap enough... Or is the reason for having an amp more power ful then ur subs is so that you don't clip.

Also, my set of 18"s came in 1 week exactly... But I had been talking with dud for a while so maybe he had built them before I ordered them. Also I noticed the price went up $10 after I bought them... Lol from $199 to $209. Think I'm gonna order 2 sets of Re-Cone kits for em just to have around

Where did you buy/find those binding posts at? I gotta speaker terminal that the posts on it broke (my bad) when I was reworking my enclosure. I flipped the enclosure over and the sawhorse ruin it lol....went to hook it up and the binding posts were broken.

I have the fu750v2.0 15 and I feed it 1,000w rms every day without issue! Doesn't even get warm or anything.

There is an o-scope kit called a DSO138 Open Source Oscilloscope, The original kit is like $25 bucks. It doesnt have a ton of functions but it has plenty for tuning a system. IF you buy the kit you would have to solder it all together, there are 200 solder points and some of them are heat sensitive, so that depends on your soldering skills.

I did however, find a DSO138 that comes pre-soldered for right around the same price, I think it is a knockoff board from the original company, but it's open source so IDK what they expect. I actually went ahead and ordered one to mess around with. should be coming in this week.

it's your thread it's right place to ask., if that is a 2k amp u won't have to worry about hurting those subs as long as gain set right (under clipping at highest u will play it) they could take like 1200-1500 each, popwar ran 1300 per sub i think still has his.. peeps here are mad at me cause i'm only running over 900rms to 1 12, so you'll be good.. mine may be here any day.. love to know what u clamp at so we can sortof figure how much power subs actually get.. idk when i'm ever gonna get my box thats what i'm waiting on, i was gonna just drill hole to of box run wire through it so i can turn box around without disconnecting wires but i'll look at some terminals i guess..

Might consider another Machette amp in the future once you get the build going....I mean it'll be loud but more power=more bass.
