I can't believe you guys don't think 1" mdf, a full partition and extra bracing will be enough. That enclosure looks pretty strong to me...

so would u use 1 layer of 3/4 for those subs? if it wasnt built out of 1" its only 1/4 difference? ... most people here on the forum double baffle thats 1.5"

No, I wouldn't use .75" mdf for that box. But I think the 1" will be fine considering the full partition and bracing.

eh. I would have used a double baffle instead of just a 1" board. Bracing in the box wasn't thought out too well considering (like someone above said) that most of the flex will be in the middle of the walls, not the joints. The joints are plenty strong. He should have used 2 or 3 1" dowels or threaded rods IMO

The bracing will suffice just fine, it's just that it could have been done a little better and efficient.

Does look nice and + 9 on bracing
