trial and error thats all...

build a box thats 5cubes sub up port facing back tuned to 32hz with 100 square inches of port and u will hear a big difference and should up your score a bit

RL-P isn't really an SPL sub, so I'd be happy with that score. Especially since I'm sure it sounds very good for daily. And don't tune higher as the sub will sound like chit. I tried a bunch of tunes with my RL-P's and 32Hz was the best for SQL. Any higher and it sounded hollow, lost impact, etc...

Get another one or put that one in a bigger box....

bigger box would get you up a little more. 2.9 cubes isnt very big w. a 15.... i would get it up to like 4 cubes after displacement if you can. maybe tune it a couple hz higher if you want a higher score.... the extra cube should get you a lot closer to 140.

It may not be high, but at least I will sleep comfortably knowing that bdawson will never hit 150....

maybe sell that 15 and get a dual 2..... im sure 2500 watts and a big 15 in a big box will get you above 140 easily...

Ive hit 141 w. a single 15 (3.5 cube box) on 500 watts tuned to 34

144.1 on 2 15's (7 cube box tuned to 45) on around 1kw.

First thing i would do is build a bigger box. (3.5-4.8 cubes)

if youre still not satisfied get a new sub, and that will most likely get you in the mid 40's.

I haven't got mine metered yet, but I can guarantee I'm not loud at all. So, don't feel too bad.

i got metered too.. 137.7db with the equip in Sig in my monte with the rear seats up I was expecting 140s easily toobut sadly NO.. once I get electrical upgraded with a 2nd batt and ho alt i'll do better.. voltage drops ftl
