Finally getting a new car...
Meh, still sounds like you're over-paying for this car too, even if it's certified from the dealership. I found better deals when I was looking around. And They felt and looked extremely cheap to me when I drove it around.
That's just me though, more importantly, I hope this one treats you right! And you better be changing your username from @95saturn to @09honda
Haha I will once I know it's final. It's not 100% that it's mine. I will show link of said civic.

2009 Honda Civic VP, $12,773 - Cars.com

I bought my 03 honda accord coupe v6 6 speed from a dealership for 6500. Leather, heated seats, power moonroof, ect. I bought it with 140000 miles on it and it runs like a champ. No leaks at all and the only thing I replaced was the water pump and timing belt just as preventative maintenance.

until they redesign the cheap plastics and give it some more powah, i will not own a new one
Civics were never fast.... The new Si is the fastest ever with 170 lb of torque and 200ish HP. That said 140-160 hp and 45 mpg is pretty good. Every new car is made of plastic in order to get better mileage. If you dont want an econobox then dont buy one, nobody ever claimed the civic was luxury. The 2012 civics are ugly but not any less reliable. OP is paying 12k for an 09 civic which isnt really a bad deal unless it is a DX. New LX or EX civic is almost 20k
