For either setup I will be using a Power Acoustik a2400db

Option #1-

3 12" Kicker CVR (400rms)

Triple Sealed Box giving approximately 1cube to each sub

Option #2-

2 12" Type R's (500rms)

Dual Ported Box, 3.5 Cubic Feet Total, Tuned to 35hz

Which will get louder, which will have better overall sound quality, which will be more reliable in the end?

Whats wrong with the box for the type r's? its ported, fit to recommendations of alpine, and about as big as I can fit in my car??

x2 most specs are not optimal although kicker seems to be on the money with theirs
