Should I be into SPL because my personal taste is that I can't stand it (it's not my cup of tea)

If you're not into SPL, there is no reason to have 6 subs, 17kw of power, and half a dozen mids per side. If you're into SQ, then 1-2 subs and one set of comps per side is all you need. A second midbass isn't a bad idea, but that vehicle is in no way SQ-oriented from what I can see.

May I ask what is "funny" about that? (2) 8" for midbass and (2) 6.5 for mids is not that bad. What is your flavor?

and you are right Sir, it's not an SQ either. I have a personal vehicle that has (2) 10", (2) 8", (4) 6.5, 5" center channel, tweeter on the front pillars and that's my SQ car. The truck is built to be loud and what I mean loud is BASS/MIDS and HIGHS with clarity. The way we do it here in NYC is bumper by ear and I know that's not everyones cup of tea but it suits us fine.

I'm more of a minimalist. 1 sub, 1 mid and tweet (An extra midbass if I decide on a 3-way install) per door. Pretty much all i need. Also wouldn't mind an IB install if I have a trunk car to work with.

When the truck first came out in its original version, it was built for street battles only, I never liked meters. After that it became a show truck for promoting DeepHitters Magazine and a good job it has done for the company. The truck doesn't need a booth, models or so on. All is needed is to show up and pound and 80 percent of the crowd is amazed by the truck and that's it's job. It's not a SPL or SQ or normal vehicle but an attention getter.

They finally finished the box, now it time for the (3) AB 500.1 and (1)US Amp AX-2000 on the roof

in that particular song, it has to types of bass, one with lows and the other real hard that hits your chest but in my last setup (bandpass) I only reproduced the lows and even though I love the lows, I want both types

thats how i designed the box so u can hit the lows like no other.....

but this new box should be wat u looking for...manny knows wat he's doing
