The box design, I had to go outside of NY. I wasn't to happy with the Bass so I went to aguy that has a reputation for building very good boxes and he was or is still competing from T-Rex Audio in Conn. Hopefully now I can enjoy it.

lol, "unpleasing" that's funny, don't know why it's funny anyway I want a box that hit the crazy lows but don't lose when the hard bass hit. Example song: Down with my n*ggas fro C-Murder and Snoop, Im not into SPL

you cant manipulate the recording,

if its recorded 'hard' and your box is good, it will sound 'hard'

if its recorded 'softer' and your box is good, it will sound 'softer'

the box either reproduces the recorded bass accurately or its a 1 note wonder and everything sounds the same.

in that particular song, it has to types of bass, one with lows and the other real hard that hits your chest but in my last setup (bandpass) I only reproduced the lows and even though I love the lows, I want both types

Can't fool me. Took the backplate cover off.

We do that to ours in custom installs, then sand the backplate up to 2000grits, and then polish/buff it. Sometimes we clear coat it as well, and then put the MTX Logo Cover back on.
