yes you sure can, i just put a 12 type r in today it was a 1222 but the wiring is the same, i went to 1 ohm put it in a 1.75 cube box at about 35hz and it gets pretty loud, gotta wait 4 a short breakin til it really gets some juice though

What's normally the breakin period for Type-R's? 1 week? 2 weeks? 5 days?
