final amp decision

i have 2 10s with 900w rms each, theyre 4ohm dvc, so im told theyll run at 1ohm. should i go with the hifonics brutus bxi1606, or bxi2600? reason for asking is ive found the 2600 for just a little more than the 1606, but if it pushes a true 2000 watts then that would be too much for my subs to handle. if it pushes less then id like to get teh 2600.

get the 2000watts amp and turn down the gain. And if ur subs are rated for 900 each than a lil' extra 200 won't hurt them if done right. Wat subs do u have tho? That might determine if they're true RMS or bullshit numbers
