which is better? 2 500/1 JL or 1 1000/1 JL for 2 12w6v1's

i have 2 12 inch w6 version 1's in one box and i want to know which sounds better 1 1000/1 or 2 500/1 amps?

just get the 1000/1

It would primarily depend on what impedence you subs are. If they are 2 ohm then the 1000/1 would work perfect and if they are 4 ohm you would want 2 500/1 amps so you would run a 2 ohm load on the amp and get the most power out of it. Hope this helped.

Those amps put out the same power at 1.4-4 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif so if he went with dual 4's he'd be ok too.
