you are gonna need more room than that. the 4" in that set is a pretty stout 4" and is the "main" speaker of the set.

hmmmm you are going to not mold the lower floor? what if "the best location" is up against it? becomes a pretty hard mold from the other way

i just won a lap top on ebay lol old ibm think pad win98. xp and sony digital sound creator do not get along what so ever. it corrupts the drivers in xp and doesnt leave a trace to what gets nuked lol very frustrating.

haven't had much of a chance to work on this thing lately as i started my new job on monday. workin from 1-11 pm sucks *** but the pay is good ;P. I'm gonna work on them all day friday and get some pics up.... and oh yeah...

mounting MDF to fiberglass is by far one of the gayest things in the world....

Use resin, it works really well. On my first fg progect I tried to use spray adhesive and a hotglue gun for mounting my mdf rings but neither held it to together that well. I then tried a small batch of resin and the mdf rings would not budge.

since i get 3 day weekends from work, i'm gettin some work done today

i got the things to mount with some resin (lol cant believe i didnt think of that, Thanks msimon)

cuttin my box down... it'll be ~4 cubes sealed. I'm just gonna throw a baffle over the front of the box and close of the port. the box is 15" tall (outside dims) but i'm gonna try some goofy sh*t to see if i cant use this... if all else fails i'll just build a new one but i'm gonna take a stab at it
