I'm going to be building a fiberglass box for a 10" sub in my spare tire well. After I've made it and such, how do I measure the size of it? and say it's too big, how do I decrease the size of it? Thanks
Use packing peanuts. It will fill everything pretty good. fill the sub box up, then dump all the peanuts into a regular cardboard box. Level them off pretty good, mark the top of them. Measure the heigth of the mark, multiply it by the width and depth and you have the airspace.
If you have decrease some space, build a box out of scrap MDF, sealed up airtight to the space you need subtracted.
