overall im happy with the sub really impressive.

havent got around to cleaning up the wires,I'll do that when i figure out where I want the terminals, for now Im just happy to have my bass back

I doubt I'll be missing it I've never used it at all.

I was playing it for about 20 mins and it started to to get warm. Gain is set with voltmeter should I back off a little more I set it a little lower than its suposed to be. Amp is rated close to1500 but with stock electrical so I doubt I'm getting that much

Any sub will get a little warm after playing. And when you're first playing a sub in a ported box a smell is normal.

If you're really going to push it for longer periods of time theres going to be a little smell. Thats just the coil getting a little warmer. If it smells like the sub is about to fry you will be able to tell.

alright yeah I remember that at first they usually get stinky but I didnt think it would be getting warm. Should be no clippng but I'll keep my eye on it
